Background Check

What’s Required

All independent nursing professionals must complete a background check that meets state regulations. Additional screenings — such as abuse or neglect registry checks — may be required depending on your license type, location, or the facilities where you plan to work.

How to Initiate Your Background Check

1. Open your CareEvo app.

2. On the home screen, tap the Background Check task.

3. Complete and submit the Background Consent Form.

Once submitted, CareEvo will begin processing your background check.

Checking Your Status

Processing times vary by state. You’ll receive updates in your CareEvo app message center as your background check progresses.
